Water sports prices in Dubai
Every rate below is per hour, for a private ride, and includes the instructor and the equipment. You are booking the toy and the person running it, not a seat, so a group taking turns pays the same as a single rider.
On a charter the activities are billed on top of it; on their own they are billed by the hour and nothing else. Either way your booking manager confirms the time and the meeting point before the day. The full price list is in the booklet below.
Jet ski — from AED 725/hr
Guided ride on a Yamaha or Sea-Doo ski, one or two people per machine.
Yacht slide — AED 900/hr
Inflatable slide rigged off the yacht's own deck, straight into the sea.
Banana boat — AED 990/hr
Multi-rider inflatable towed behind the tender. The classic group activity.
Donut ride — AED 1,000/hr
Two-seat towable that spins. Louder than it looks.
Fly fish — AED 1,000/hr
Winged inflatable that lifts off the water as the tender picks up speed.

How a water sports day actually runs
The yacht leaves the marina and cruises to calm water. Once the captain drops anchor, the equipment comes alongside on the tender, the instructor gives the safety briefing on your own deck, and the first rider goes in from the swim platform.
Nothing has to be booked by the hour on a beach, and nobody loses forty minutes travelling between an activity and the boat. Swapping from jet ski to fly board is a matter of minutes, in the same spot, with the same crew.

Above the water: fly board and e-foil
Fly board puts you on a plate fed by a high-pressure water jet, and a first-timer is usually standing above the surface inside ten minutes. The instructor controls the throttle from the ski until you are steady, which is why the learning curve is short.
E-foil is the quiet one. An electric motor drives a hydrofoil under the board, the hull lifts clear of the water, and the ride is almost silent — no spray, no engine noise, just the skyline going past. It is the activity guests film the most after the jet car.

Three carbon e-foils are in our hands, and you can take any of them by the hour or buy the same board to keep. Carbon is the difference you feel first: lighter to carry down the swim platform, and stiff enough under your feet that the foil holds a line instead of wandering.
Renting is AED 1,200 an hour — private, with an instructor and the safety kit, from a charter or from the marina. Buying is by order: the board, the battery and the wing set are chosen for the rider, so we quote the exact configuration rather than a shelf price. The instructor who teaches you on the water is the one who sets it up.
SiFly Carbon
Carbon-fibre sandwich over a light EPS core, 98 or 120 litres. Up to 45 km/h, around 30 km of range and close to two hours in the air on one charge — the longest runtime of the three, which is why it is the board we put a beginner on for a whole afternoon. The two we keep are the Stellar S at 98 L (5'4", 161 × 66 cm, riders 30–130 kg) and the Stellar R at 120 L (5'6", 171 × 72 cm, riders 40–140 kg). One battery for both — a 44.8 Ah / 58.8 V PowerCell — and a 75 cm mast. The wing is the choice that changes the ride: Cruiser 1900 / CR340 for the steadiest first hour, Cruiser 1300 / CR300 to progress, Glide 1100 or Glide 900 / SP240 to start carving, Sport 700 / SP240 for speed.
Lift Foils Carbon
The board that started the category, still built in Puerto Rico. Small volumes — 67 to 83 litres — and a full setup around 31 kg, with up to 90 minutes of ride time. Riders who already surf or wake tend to choose this one for how quickly it comes round. The carbon LIFT5 comes in four lengths — 4'4" / 55 L, 4'9" / 67 L, 5'2" / 64 L and 5'4" / 83 L — all on the same 2.2 kWh Gen5 Full Range battery and the 32" LCS Carbon 68 propulsion. Front wings run from the 270 Camber Pro for lift to the 210 Camber Pro for balance and the 200 Havoc for carving.
Fliteboard Carbon
Australian, carbon in both the 100-litre ICON and the smaller 67-litre PRO. Tested with riders up to 120 kg, over 40 km of range on the large battery, and the fastest board in the family runs to 55 km/h. Most first-timers are flying inside the first hour. Three carbon shapes: ICON 100 L (5'8") with the Cruiser Jet 1500 wing, PRO 67 L (5'0") with the MN 1300, and ULTRA L3 49 L (4'4") for wave riding. The battery is picked the same way as the wing — Flitecell Nano for the lightest board, Sport for the balance of the two, Explore to go furthest — on an 80 cm mast.
The one everybody films
Drive the ocean: the jet car
A two-seat water go-kart with a real steering wheel and a throttle pedal, shaped like a sports car and fast enough to throw a wall of spray. There is no boat licence involved and no boat handling to learn: if you can drive a car, you can drive this.
The route runs past Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis, and the stretch in front of Burj Al Arab is the one that ends up on everyone's camera. At AED 2,000 per hour it is the most expensive item on the list and the one guests ask for by name.
Below the surface: Seabob
Everything else on this page happens on top of the water. The Seabob is the exception — an electric underwater scooter that pulls you along under the surface, so a mask and a pair of lungs are enough to see what is down there.
It is the calmest activity of the nine and the one that works for guests who would rather not be launched into the air. AED 1,500 per hour, instructor included.
For the whole group: banana, donut, fly fish and the slide
Four of the nine need no skill at all. The banana boat seats a row of riders, the donut spins two, the fly fish lifts its passengers off the water as the tender accelerates, and the inflatable slide simply hangs off the yacht's deck for as long as you want it there.
These are the ones that work with mixed groups and with children on board, and the ones a birthday or a corporate day usually ends on.
Safety, ID and sea conditions
Every activity is instructor-guided and starts with a safety briefing. Life jackets and equipment are part of the hourly rate, and a short disclaimer is signed before each activity.
Bring a valid Emirates ID or passport for every rider — it is checked on the day. The captain decides the order and the timing based on the sea, and will move an activity later in the charter rather than run it in conditions he does not like.
A charter gives you the one thing a beach operator cannot: the water sports come to you. The toys are brought to wherever the captain drops anchor, off Palm Jumeirah, along Dubai Marina, or in the flat water near Burj Al Arab, and you step off your own swim platform instead of queuing on a public beach.
Nine activities are available, from a jet ski hour at AED 725 to the two-seat jet car at AED 2,000. Each one is a private ride with an instructor and all the equipment, so nobody needs prior experience and nobody shares a session with strangers.
Pick one, or run several across an afternoon. Your booking manager writes them into the charter itinerary and the crew handles the swap between activities on the water.

Discretion is part of the service
Many of our guests charter privately and expect the day to stay private. We treat that as a condition of the booking, not an extra: what is arranged on board, who is on board and what is discussed there stays between you and your manager.
On request we select the crew and service staff to your criteria, and brief them before you sail. Tell your manager what matters — language, gender of the service team, dress, whether staff remain on deck or step back between courses — and it is arranged before you arrive rather than negotiated in front of your guests.
Water sports in Dubai — common questions
With Gold's Yacht, rates run from AED 725 per hour for a jet ski to AED 2,000 per hour for the two-seat jet car. Fly board and donut are AED 1,000, banana AED 990, the yacht slide AED 900, e-foil from AED 1,200 and the Seabob AED 1,500.

Neither. Every ride is instructor-guided and begins with a safety briefing, and the boards, skis, life jackets and towables are all part of the hourly rate. Fly board and e-foil are the two that look hardest and both are routinely learned by first-timers inside the first session.
Yes. You can book any of the activities on their own, without a yacht — you come to the marina we agree on and ride from there, at the same hourly rate with the instructor and the equipment included.
The other way is to add them to a charter. Then the equipment goes out with the yacht and launches from it or its tender, so the toys come to wherever the captain drops anchor instead of you meeting them ashore. That is the difference: on your own you travel to the water, on a charter the water sports travel to you.
Both. The same three carbon boards are on the water for rent and available to buy — SiFly Carbon, Lift Foils Carbon and Fliteboard Carbon.

By how long you want to stay up and how sharply you want to turn. SiFly flies close to two hours on a charge — the easy first board and the one for a long afternoon. Lift Foils is the smallest and quickest to come round, and suits riders who already surf or wake. Fliteboard sits between them and carries the heaviest riders, up to 120 kg.
All three are carbon and all three are here, so the honest way to decide is an hour on each before you buy anything.
Wherever the captain anchors, which for most charters means the water off Palm Jumeirah, along Dubai Marina, or the flat stretch near Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach. The jet car route in particular runs past Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis.
Yes, and most groups do. Because everything is launched from the same yacht, swapping from jet ski to fly board takes minutes rather than a trip back to shore. Tell your booking manager which ones you want and they are written into the itinerary.
