Yacht Rental in Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina is where most people picture a yacht in Dubai, and it is the one place where the picture is accurate: a canal cut three kilometres inland, towers on both banks, and boats moored close enough to the promenade that you board from a walkway rather than a jetty in an industrial port. Gold's Yacht keeps 46 yachts berthed inside Dubai Marina, from a 40-foot boat for ten people to a 275-foot vessel that takes 800.

What it costs, honestly

Rates in the marina run from 300 AED per hour for a small Explorer-class boat to 22,791 AED per hour for the largest event yacht in the fleet. Most bookings sit far below the top of that range — 33 of the 46 boats here are standard class, 11 premium, 2 luxury. Prices on every yacht page are live: they come from the same system our managers quote from, not from a printed list that drifts out of date.

Packages for 4, 6, 8 and 24 hours are priced as packages, not as the hourly rate multiplied out, so a longer charter costs less per hour than a short one. The minimum is two hours on Explorer-class boats, and two hours on the rest of the fleet during low season, before 15 September. Outside that, three hours is the shortest booking we recommend — not as a rule, but because an hour of it goes to leaving and returning to the berth.

Where you actually board

The marina has four berthing areas and our boats sit across all of them: Marina Mall, Marina Yacht Club, and the east and west ends of the canal. Which one you go to depends on the yacht, and it is on your confirmation — this matters more than it sounds, because the canal is three kilometres long and the wrong end is a twenty-minute drive around, not a walk.

A further 98 yachts sit at Dubai Harbour, ten minutes up the coast beside Ain Dubai. It is the newer marina and the larger part of our fleet is there, so if you searched for Dubai Marina and the boat you want turns out to be at the Harbour, that is why. Both are in the same district; neither adds meaningfully to your journey from Downtown or the Palm.

When to go out

Departures run at any hour. The two people ask for most are sunset and sunrise, and for good reason — the light on the towers is the reason half the photographs from this marina exist. Sunset moves a lot across the year in Dubai, from about 17:35 in mid-December to 19:15 in late June, so the same "evening cruise" starts nearly two hours apart depending on the month. Ask us for the time on your date rather than assuming.

Very early mornings and late nights are possible, but need four to five hours' notice so a second crew can be arranged. That is the real constraint — not availability of the boat, but of the people on it.

What the route looks like

From inside the marina you pass the towers first, then out through the breakwater to open water. From there the standard run goes along Jumeirah Beach Residence, past Bluewaters and Ain Dubai, and on to the Palm and the Burj Al Arab. Two hours covers the marina and the skyline. Three to four hours adds a swim stop off the Palm, which is the point at which a charter stops being a tour and becomes a day out.
