Yachtation
A week at sea, not a day out
First and Imperial class yachts from 80 feet, a private chef team on board, a butler on call around the clock, and a programme written for your group alone. Twenty-four hours to seven days — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain.
What a Yachtation includes
A day charter is a boat and a crew. A voyage is a household that moves with you, and it is staffed accordingly.
A private chef team
Not one cook — a galley brigade for the length of the voyage. Menus are agreed before departure and provisioning is bought for them, including the days you spend at anchor far from a marina.
A personal butler, 24/7
On board for the whole charter and attached to your party alone: cabins, service, the small things nobody should have to ask for twice. Night watch included — an overnight charter is where a butler stops being a luxury and becomes the point.
A programme written for you
Water toys, shore excursions, island dinners, diving, a desert safari, a jazz trio for one evening. We build the days around your group rather than hand you a fixed itinerary.
First and Imperial class, from 80 ft
Only these two classes carry a Yachtation: cabins you can sleep in properly, stabilisers for open water, range and tankage for nights away from the berth. Below 80 feet a week on board stops being a holiday.
The voyages
Five routes, from one night at anchor off the World Islands to a seven-day Gulf crossing through Qatar and Bahrain.
- 24 hours
Dubai skyline & World Islands
JBR · Ain Dubai · Palm Jumeirah · Burj Al Arab · World Islands
- Afternoon cruise past JBR, Ain Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab.
- Sunset anchorage at the World Islands — swimming and a BBQ dinner under the stars, with the Heart of Europe alongside.
- Overnight in calm water, private cabins on board.
- Morning swim, breakfast, and the return run along the Dubai skyline.
- 24 hours
Dubai to Abu Dhabi
Dubai · Yas Marina or Zaya Nurai Island · Abu Dhabi Corniche
- Afternoon departure from Dubai, sailing west along the coast.
- Berth at Yas Marina for the nightlife and the restaurants — or anchor off Zaya Nurai Island and have the beach to yourselves.
- Overnight on board with the city or the island in the window.
- Morning: Corniche sightseeing, or a swim off Nurai before the run home past Burj Al Arab and the World Islands.
- 2–3 days
Sir Bani Yas
Dubai · Sir Bani Yas Island · Yas Marina · Dubai
- West to Sir Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi's private wildlife reserve.
- Afternoon safari — Arabian oryx, gazelle, giraffe and cheetah.
- Cocktails and dinner on board or at the island resort, then an offshore night at anchor.
- Kayaking, mangrove tours and water sports before the cruise back via Yas Marina.
- 3–5 days
Oman coastal expedition
Musandam fjords · Daymaniyat Islands · Muscat · Bandar Khayran · Fujairah
- The Musandam fjords, then the Daymaniyat Islands — snorkelling with sea turtles.
- Muscat for the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muttrah Souk and the old forts.
- Anchorage at Bandar Khayran: secluded bays and diving.
- Return along the UAE east coast via Fujairah.
- 5–7 days
Arabian Gulf grand tour
Dubai · Doha · Bahrain · Sir Bani Yas · Abu Dhabi · Dubai
- Dubai to Qatar — Doha, the Pearl-Qatar marina and the island beaches.
- On to Bahrain: beaches, the UNESCO Bahrain Fort, the spa retreats.
- Anchorage at Amwaj Islands or Bahrain Bay.
- Home via Sir Bani Yas and Abu Dhabi. Three countries in one voyage.
Routes may vary with weather and sea conditions. The final itinerary is agreed with the captain, for comfort and safety.
Beyond the Gulf: the Strait of Hormuz
Leaving the Arabian Gulf means the Strait of Hormuz, and the Strait is not a stretch of water you simply cross. It is arranged, in advance, or it is not done at all.
- Transit clearance is filed and confirmed before the leg is scheduled — not after you have paid for it.
- A secured convoy is arranged on prior request, coordinated with UAE and allied (US) naval authorities.
- Lead time is part of the plan. A Hormuz passage is booked weeks out, not days.
- If clearance does not come through, the voyage is re-routed inside the Gulf rather than attempted anyway.
Ask about Hormuz at the enquiry stage, not once the dates are set — it is the one part of a Yachtation that cannot be arranged quickly.
The fleet that carries a Yachtation
First and Imperial class only, from 80 feet. These are the yachts with the cabins, the range and the crew quarters a multi-day voyage needs. The number on each card is berths — how many sleep on board, not how many fit on deck for a day.

Our clients' feedback
Gold Yachts was the perfect go to for a romantic day/evening. We loved being able to relax, eat snacks and dance playing our own music while watching the sunset. I recommend a 3 hour slot. It goes by so fast and you’re sad to see it’s over. We loved every second. ❤️
I booked a yatch through Gold’s Yatch for my sons birthday. It was a very easy processes to book and Mahmoud Ali made all the necessary arrangements for my trip to how I wanted and any questions i had were answered. I was very pleased with the yatch I hired. The captain and crew were really polite and helpful throughout our trip. Will definitely be booking again through Gold’s Yatch next time.
I researched companies and obtained many quotes for a private yacht cruise. I wanted 3 hrs over sunset. It was a bit daunting as so many companies are out there! . David from Gold Yachts was ultimately professional at booking, informative and accessible for any questions during booking and up to the cruise departure. The price was very competitive too.
The yacht was fantastic, the crew were polite, professional and we felt safe and happy throughout our wonderful experience. The skill when they moored the boat was 1st class.
I would not hesitate to recommend Gold’s Yachts and go as far as to say that it was worth every penny.
Thank you so very much for giving us a super cruise.
The whole experience I had with Golds Yachts was great, booking was very easy, responses to questions were fairly quick, and the actual cruise itself was faultless. The captain and crew could not have done anymore. I proposed on the cruise and they made it as perfect as it could have possibly been. Would definitely book with Golds again and would also recommend to anyone!
